The Poplars Glen Davis Works

The Poplars property lies adjacent to the Wollemi National Park at the head of the Colo River, surrounded by the majestic escarpments of the Capertee Valley and just a little over three hours from Sydney. The two cottages situated on the 300 acre property and have been restored with every modern comfort. Each cottage accommodates seven to eight people, and are extremely comfortable and fully equipped. The property is extremely private and encompasses the Ruins of the oil shale plant. Historic tours of the ruins are conducted every Saturday at 2pm; meet at the front gates. Bird watching and art workshops can be arranged on request. It is the perfect place to chill out completely in a most majestic landscape and engage with the abundant surrounding nature or bushwalk, cycle and explore a natural wilderness area.
