The District Docklands

Description:

The District Docklands is evolving with a highly anticipated $150 million redevelopment and rebrand of the Docklands-based shopping centre to establish Melbourne’s newest shopping, entertainment, dining and fresh food precinct. International fashion retailer H&M will form the centrepiece of a revitalised, full-price retail offering at The District Docklands, joined by further international brands Miniso and Canterbury plus a number of popular national youth fashion and lifestyle brands including General Pants Co., Hype DC, Platypus and a flagship store for SportsPower which complement a range of existing retailers including Cotton On Mega, Forever New, Bonds and Politix. More retailer announcements are expected later this year. Drawing inspiration from Melbourne’s iconic laneways and distinctive culture, The District Docklands will become a connected extension of the Melbourne CBD, while embracing a distinctly Docklands vibe. The new precinct is intended to provide an urban oasis and a vibrant new village for Melburnians on the edge of the CBD.
