Two cottages built to the same design and standard surrounded by ten acres of gardens and forest. The views are magnificent. Lyrebird Cottages are only ten minutes to the nearest vineyard and 13 minutes to Healesville shops. The mud brick and timber interior and abundant natural light give a feeling of warmth and peace. The cottages have complete kitchens with separate bedroom and living areas. The bathrooms have a double spa, shower and heated towel rail. Each cottage has a queensize bed, an extra single bed can be provided on request. There is a cosy wood fire for winter evenings and air-conditioning. Stereo, television, DVDs, CDs and books are provided. There is a large attached deck with barbecue overlooking the garden. Quality linen and towels are provided. Off-street parking is next to the cottage Generous country breakfast provisions are supplied for the first day of your stay. Late check out is 12.00 noon. Please note, guests are welcome to smoke only outside on the deck. Lyrebird Cottages is one hour and fifteen minutes from central Melbourne.
