The Chase Cafe, conveniently located at the Flinders Chase Visitor Centre, provides a welcome rest stop for visitors to the western end of Kangaroo Island. The alfresco dining area is nestled among the sugar gums adjacent to the children's fossil dig pit which provides entertainment for little ones. Mum and Dad can enjoy barista coffee or browse the well stocked gift shop. From baguettes baked fresh on premises daily to more substantial sit down meals, The Chase Cafe caters for all tastes and budgets. It is famous for generous servings to challenge the healthiest appetite. The family friendly menu incorporates a large variety of local produce including locally caught seafood, cheeses, Ligurian honey and native jams and sauces, many of which can be purchased in-store. The Chase Cafe also stocks a comprehensive selection of Kangaroo Island wines which an be enjoyed over lunch or purchased as a souvenir of your holiday. The Chase Cafe is open for breakfast from 9am and serves lunch until 3.30pm with coffee and cake available until 5pm every day of the year except Christmas Day.
