Lochiel Cottage is the perfect place for a family holiday or for a short break. Enjoy a relaxing country farm-stay on a working cattle station, with self-contained accommodation. The property is located on the MacDonald River, in a fabulous fishing location. Visitors can fish, swim, watch the cattle grazing, or just take in the rural views and glorious sunsets. There are walking tracks and plenty of birds and native animals to observe. Platypus can also be spotted at the river's edge on most days. Lochiel cottage has three bedrooms (two queen size and one twin). Families with children are welcome and a maximum of eight guests is the limit, or 17 guests if combined with the shearer's quarters. Two night minimum stay. Tent sites and home cooked meals are available by prior arrangement. Pets will also be considered by prior arrangement.
