The intimate 57-seat theatre is located on the first floor of the State Theatre Centre, on the corner of Roe and William Streets in Northbridge. A touching tribute to the late internationally-acclaimed and AFI award-winning actor, Heath Ledger, who was born and raised in Perth Western Australia, the venue inspires audiences as well as local, national and international contemporary performing artists who showcase their work here. In addition to Heath Ledger Theatre, the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia also plays host to a diverse array of arts events and artists in its 234-seat underground studio, multipurpose courtyard and rehearsal rooms.
