There are emus, kangaroos and deer in abundance as well as alpacas, cows and goats always ready for a feed and a pat. Less than three hours from Melbourne, we are about one kilometre from the Halls Gap Pub and about three kilometres further to the centre of town, just far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle.
