Elaia's cafe was opened in 1996 as a result of our deli customers wanting good quality coffee and food and somewhere nice to sit. We were the first licensed café to open in the ‘Paris’ end of Charles Street with on street dining and serving All Day Breakfasts. Now 20 years later, Elaia has proudly evolved into a significant Cafe/Restaurant and has become Launceston's favourite choice for breakfast, lunch, dinner and that something in between. We are honoured and humbled to be part of the charm that is Charles Street and to have observed its development into a significant eating precinct in Launceston Tasmania. Elaia Café/Restaurant is open from 7.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday and 7.30am to 3.00pm Sunday. We serve All Day Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Dinner and are Fully Licensed.
