The Alpine Activity Centre in Jindabyne offers high-quality, budget-friendly accommodation at the heart of NSW’s High Country. The Centre is set amidst four acres of bushland, and boasts spectacular views of Jindabyne Lake and the Snowy Mountains. Its cosy and comfortable self-contained cottages and purpose-built dormitory-style accommodation cater for groups of all shapes and sizes, providing a base where visitors can unwind, rejuvenate and take on exhilarating adventures all year round. The Centre’s two self-contained cottages – Kanangra and Bluegum – sleep up to nine people each. Each cottage has its own kitchen, private laundry, two bathrooms, television and DVD, as well as a veranda and outdoor barbecue area overlooking Lake Jindabyne. The Tony Balthasar Lodge is ideal for larger groups, with its dormitory rooms sleeping up to 96 people. Comfortable bunk beds are featured throughout, while its large commercial style kitchen allows groups to self-cater during their stay. The Lodge also has a large dining room with 100-seat capacity, large drying room and communal lounge area perfect for winding down at the end of the day. Alpine Activity Centre is a five-hour drive from Sydney. A large bitumen carpark is available onsite, with space for boats, cars and coaches.
