Description:

When you just want to retreat from the world, there is no better place to escape to than the all-inclusive haven of Bedarra. With just ten villas hidden amongst 45 hectares of tropical rainforest, Bedarra offers solitude, privacy and sublime views over the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef, with a maximum of 20 guests. The open terrace restaurant, bar and lounge are the heart and soul of Bedarra, where guests indulge in the delicious and ever-changing menu, or legendary open bar. Enjoy a candlelit dinner on a private beach, pack a gourmet hamper in your own dinghy for a romantic picnic on one of the nearby deserted islands, or book the entire resort for a bespoke island experience. Sea kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkelling, fishing, tennis and self-guided interactive walks are all on offer, should you wish to leave your sundeck. Outer Great Barrier Reef snorkelling or scuba trips, or deep sea fishing charters can also be arranged. Bedarra lies 10 kilometres off the coast from Mission Beach in Tropical North Queensland. Road transfers from Cairns take approximately two hours, with daily launch transfers from Mission Beach. Alternatively, 45 minute heli-transfers are available from Cairns airport.
